Le Méridien Bangkok offers guests a Sip of Serenity

Le Méridien Bangkok just announced its own artistic interpretation of afternoon tea through Sip of Serenity: A Thai-Japanese Afternoon Tea Experience.

This exclusive collaboration celebrates the intersection of Thai and Japanese culinary artistry at the hotel’s signature dining venue Latitude 13.

Hotel general manager Dieter Ruckenbauer said of this new culinary offering: “This collaboration embodies Le Méridien’s passion for cultural discovery and artistic expression. By bringing together Araksa’s organic expertise and chef Hiromu Kitagawa’s artistic vision, we’re offering our guests a unique perspective on the afternoon tea tradition.”

The Sip of Serenity afternoon tea experience is available at Latitude 13, marking the first in a series of culinary innovations planned throughout 2025 at Le Méridien Bangkok.

An exquisite collaboration

This innovative afternoon tea experience marks a distinguished partnership between three celebrated brands: Le Méridien Bangkok’s renowned culinary expertise, Araksa Tea Garden’s organic excellence, and Japan Pastry Café’s (JPC) masterful confectionery craftsmanship.

Araksa Tea Garden, Thailand’s first USDA and EU Organic certified tea plantation, brings its pristine selection of organically grown teas from the foothills of Banchang, Mae Tang district in Chiang Mai.

The partnership showcases signature blends including Than Kun Earl Grey, Silk Black tea, Joy tea, and Araksa Thai tea, each exemplifying Araksa’s commitment to sustainable farming and artisanal tea production.

Complementing these exceptional teas, celebrated pastry chef Hiromu Kitagawa of Japan Pastry Café presents an exclusive collection of Japanese-inspired pastries. Drawing from his journey from small-town Japan to master pastry chef, Chef Hiromu’s creations, including the signature Strawberry Pistachio, Cheesecake Souffle, and Kai Chocola, reflect his dedication to craftsmanship and storytelling through confectionery.
