Old Quebec City Funicular Lift to the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac Hotel

This video was filmed in the historic town square area of old Quebec City, Quebec. The Old Quebec Funicular railway lift transports people from the lower Old Quebec neighborhood, shops and town square (called Place Royale), with the upper town area near the amazing Fairmont Le Château Frontenac Hotel. Near the hotel is a long and wide wooden boardwalk that offers a great vista of not only the harbor and Old Quebec below, but also the Hotel. Most people are taking selfies in front of the hotel or asking others to take their picture because it’s such a dramatic backdrop. This whole 3 square mile Old Quebec area feels like you’re in Europe and it’s so beautiful. If you haven’t been here then I’d highly recommend adding it to your bucket list!
